In 2014, a group of women decided to leave a positive footprint in the world took the first step toward creating what once was just a dream and now a reality: Indeleble Social.
Since then, the organization has witnessed an impactful and transformative decade through its multiple work paths. Among them, the volunteering line has always stood out as a reminder of its origins and a point of union and connection in a shared purpose.
The beginnings
The story of Indeleble Social started when seven talented women with unique talents reunited. Each of them brought a different perspective, but all shared a common vision: to create a company that combined community service and skills development to promote sustainability.
Today, after ten years of work across Colombia’s 32 departments, alongside 43 partners who’ve trusted our commitment and proximity, and with a presence in two additional countries, we reaffirm our conviction that, by working together, we can build a more sustainable future.
An indelible volunteering program: Human development and social transformation
For us, corporate volunteering is more than just a selfless act; it is a strategic investment that benefits everyone, and above all, it represents a unique opportunity for human development.
In addition, we consider it a way to connect with the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), which seek to harmonize skill development and individual abilities with collective transformation.
When people get involved in volunteering programs, they:
- Develop empathy and social consciousness: By learning about the realities of others firsthand, people become more sensitive to the different problems in the world and strengthen their ability to connect with others.
- They broaden their perspective: Volunteering allows them to step outside their comfort zone and experience new ways of life, cultures and realities.
- They acquire new skills: From communication and teamwork to project management, volunteering is a school of life that enriches people’s personal and professional résumés.
- They find purpose: By contributing to improving the lives of others, volunteers experience a deep sense of fulfillment and meaning.
At Indeleble Social, we firmly believe that volunteering transcends material support. When aligned with the IDGs, it is a tool that fosters the development of conscious, resilient human beings able to act purposefully. This type of inner development not only transforms volunteers, but also generates a positive impact on the organizations and communities they reach: - In companies: They strengthen their relationship with collaborators, improve their reputation and motivate their employees/collaborators, reducing the conditions for talent drain.
- For employees/collaborators: They find purpose and a greater sense of belonging.
- For communities: They receive the support needed to overcome challenges, improve living conditions and position themselves as agents of change and caretakers of their environment.

An anniversary to transform
Since our beginnings, we’ve agreed that one way to keep creating transforming experiences would be to commemorate our anniversary through volunteering initiatives. This commitment allows us to renew our vows as agents of change, inspire more companies and strengthen our raison d’être.
As the year comes to a close, we reflect on how volunteering has been and will continue to be a powerful tool for generating indelible change. Today, more than ever, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability, equity and comprehensive human development.
